Account Registration, Security, and 7-Day Cooldown

Account Eligibility and Setup. To access the Service, you must register using a valid email address and password (at least 6 characters) or authenticate through Google Sign-In. First-time Google Sign-In users are required to complete their account setup by confirming their full name and creating a password so both sign-in methods remain linked to their account.

Credential Security. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account session, and for all activities that occur under your account.

7-Day Account Deletion Lock. If you delete your account via Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete account, your chat threads are erased immediately and your account enters a mandatory 7-day (1-week) permanent removal schedule. To prevent abuse of daily free quotas, you cannot log in or register a new account using the same email address during this 7-day cooldown period.

Plans, Credits, Token Deduction, and Quotas

Ossmo provides a Free tier, Pay-as-you-go credit top-ups, and three recurring subscription tiers available on Monthly or Yearly billing cycles (with a 10% discount on yearly plans):

Free Plan Daily Quota. Users on the Free plan with zero credit balance receive 15 free messages per rolling 24-hour window exclusively on models listed under the Free Models category.

Credit Consumption and Safety Buffer. Purchasing Pay-as-you-go credits or activating a paid plan unlocks access to all 75+ flagship AI models. Credits are deducted based on input tokens, output tokens, reasoning effort level (Low, Medium, Max Effort), and the selected model's pricing rate (1 Credit = ₹1). Prior to dispatching a paid request, Ossmo verifies that your wallet balance covers the estimated cost plus a 5% estimation buffer.

UPI QR Payments, Taxes, and Refund Policy

UPI-Only Checkout. All payments on Ossmo are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) exclusively via UPI QR (supported across Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, FamPay, CRED, and all standard UPI apps). Credit/debit cards, netbanking, and third-party wallets are currently not supported.

GST and Payment Gateway Fees. For Pay-as-you-go credit purchases, 18% GST (IGST) and a 5.5% Payment Gateway Fee are added to the subtotal at checkout. For Subscription Plans (Standard, Pro, Ultra), the listed plan price already includes applicable GST, and only the 5.5% Payment Gateway Fee is added at checkout.

Unique Verification Paise and 10-Minute Timer. To match and verify your UPI payment automatically, our checkout appends a unique fractional paise value (between ₹0.01 and ₹0.99) to your total due. You must transfer the exact amount shown on the payment screen within the 10:00 minute countdown window.

Non-Refundable Digital Credits. Because AI model inference and compute costs are incurred immediately upon use, all credited wallet top-ups and activated subscription plans are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable. If a UPI transaction is debited from your bank account but fails to credit your wallet within 24 hours due to a network timeout, please contact our support team with your UPI reference / UTR number for manual verification and credit adjustment.

File Uploads and Acceptable Use Rules

Attachment Limits and Smart Paste. Eligible paid users may attach up to 8 supported files per message (images, PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, and source code) within their plan's daily file limit and per-file size cap. Pasting more than 150 words of plain text into the prompt box automatically converts the text into a .txt attachment.

Prohibited File Formats. To protect platform integrity, executable programs and scripts (.exe, .apk, .msi, .dmg, .jar, .vbs), archive bundles (.zip, .rar, .7z, .tar), audio/video files, and disk images are strictly blocked from upload.

Acceptable Conduct. You may not use the Service to generate unlawful material, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual intimate imagery, malware, or phishing campaigns; nor may you engage in automated scraping, prompt injection attacks, reverse engineering, or rate-limit circumvention. Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

AI Output Disclaimers and Intellectual Property

AI Accuracy Disclaimer. Generative AI outputs are probabilistic and may contain errors, omissions, or fabricated statements ("hallucinations"). As stated in the workspace: "AI can make mistakes. Check important info." You must independently verify any code, factual claim, or advice before relying on it for medical, legal, financial, or mission-critical decisions.

Ownership of Prompts and Outputs. You retain all rights to the prompts, text, and files you submit to the Service. Subject to applicable law and third-party AI model provider terms, Ossmo assigns to you all right, title, and interest in the text and image outputs generated specifically from your prompts.

Platform Intellectual Property. The Ossmo name, logo, ghost mascot, interface design, source code, and documentation are owned exclusively by Ossmo and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Service Availability, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law

Service Modifications and Uptime. Ossmo routes requests across third-party AI model providers. Specific models may occasionally experience rate limits, maintenance, or downtime. We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue any AI model, feature, or pricing tier at any time.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability Cap. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ossmo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data. Our maximum aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Ossmo during the thirty (30) days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
